W2CB #49: The Magic of Beginnings

Hello, everyone! Hope the new year is treating  you well.... and that you're finding some time to play with all those crafting goodies that Santa left under your tree.  :)

This is the second Wednesday of the month, which means it's time for a new Words 2 Craft By challenge... our first challenge of the new year.  :)

Our words this month come to us from Meister Eckhart.

And suddenly you know: It's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.

A friend of mine recently surprised me with a gift of new stamps. And these weren't just any stamps. They were stamps depicting her original artwork. Christina has no idea where this might lead, but she is so very excited. So, I am celebrating the beginning of Christina's new venture by making a card for Nationwide Children's using one of her adorable stamps.  :)

Doodlebug Pantry polar pals dp: Stampin' Up! black and Neenah Solar cardstock; Distress Ink core paper
snowman image: Christina Hor Designs, in My Favorite Things black hybrid ink
image colored with Prismacolor pencils and embellished with Uniball white gel pen
sentiment: SU snow day, heat embossed with SU white powder
background inking:broken china Distress Oxide, applied with Ranger blending tool
MFT mini snowflake and stitched STAX rectangle dies; crystal Stickles accents
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Zig 2-way glue pen

Hope you'll stop by W2CB to check out the rest of our DT's creations -- including new I-Teamer Celeste's handiwork... and then stop back by to share a creation of your very own. Of course, there's a prize up for grabs.  :)

See you in the W2CB Gallery!
