Valentine 4 a Little Girl

Hi, everyone!

We're busy making Valentine's over at SAS4Kids. Not only am I looking forward to receiving valentines for the kids at Nationwide Children's from fellow crafters across the country, I thought I'd try my hand at making a few cards myself.

My first offering is for a little girl who loves the color pink... and flowers... and cute baby animals.

Martha Stewart dp; Canson watercolor paper; Recollections black cardstock
Stampin' Up! Kind Koala image in StazOn black
Paper Smooches scallop and heart dies; SU owl builder punch (for tiny heart); EK hole punch
Celebrate It ribbon
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Zig 2 way pen; Recollections foam squares

Tag Close-Up
Foam adhesive squares were used to create a 3-D look.
To make the card more valentine-y, this adorable koala now offers a heart to a special little girl.

Truth be told, I'm a little ambivalent about this card because it's busier than my usual style. However, I'm hoping there's a little girl who loves it.  :)

Linking this up to the following challenges:
Parting Thoughts

There's still a little time to play along in CIE's Shiny, New Year Challenge. A new challenge will post on Monday.

In case you haven't heard, we're changing things up a bit at W2SB W2CB. Our first challenge of the new year posted yesterday, and there several opportunities to win MFT gift certificates. Hope you'll join over at W2CB.  :)
