Season's Tweetings

Hi, everyone! Here doing a little blogging while watching a lot of b-ball. Love this time of year.  :)

Tonight, I'm here sharing a card for the current Jingle Belles Hark the Herald Angels Sing Challenge. The gals have asked us to make a musically-inspired holiday card.

Maybe it's an indication of my lack of musicality, but I have very little musically-themed items in my stash. And, other than Lawn Fawn's winter sparrows, I really have no idea how to use what I have.

So, here's another sweet little sparrow, sending "Season's Tweetings" greetings to this card's recipient. Kept this one clean and simple. Maybe a little too simple? I had planned on embossing the smaller vellum panel... but it's too late now. Oh, well...

stash dp; SU vellum and gray cardstock; Staples white cardstock; Darice glitter tape
Lawn Fawn winter sparrows stamps and dies; Lawn Fawn mini snowflakes dies
images (and inside sentiment) stamped in MFT black licorice
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Zig 2-way glue pen

Okay, I don't usually say anything about challenge recognitions, but I have to mention that the little card at the right received a CAS-ual Fridays shout-out last Thursday. My first ever!!! Can you tell I'm just a bit excited. Even hubby seemed happy about it.  :)

A new challenge started Wednesday at Words 2 Craft By, and there's $10 to an e-tailer of the winner's choice up for grabs. In honor of Women's History Month, we are featuring a quote from the phenomenally inspirational Dr. Maya Angelou. Hope you'll join us as we celebrate phenomenal women in our lives.

Have a wonderful Sunday. And, until next time, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
