This post features two cards. There's a new Twofer Challenge underway, and this time around the theme is butterflies.
Truth be told, I don't have a lot of butterflies in my stash. But, when that stash includes some Graceful Beauties from Paper Smooches...

For the card on the left, I filled in two layers of the cut-out hearts and heat embossed the sentiment over that section. The bow is Ranger crinkle ribbon that's been dyed with Distress Victorian Velvet ink. And, the focal point paper is some yummy MME gifted from a stampin' friend.The card on the right was inspired by the current CAS-ual Friday Sketch Challenge. Since I didn't have three different sizes of PS butterflies, I inked up two PS hearts for the tiniest sketch elements. After heat embossing the butterflies and hearts, I created a Distress inky card base and front panel. Then, I stamped both of these with the same background stamp... using a complementary color for the front panel and a tone-on-tone color for the card base.

Beautiful butterfly image Sybrina. Love the silhouette over top of the grid circle. It really stands out on the lovely heart background. I love it as a silhouette on your pretty sympathy card and all the details you gave your circle and your heart background. Excellent job heat embossing the sentiment on top of the embossing! Your thank you card is stunning, this time with the butterflies in white against the gorgeous shading of blues!
