Merry Christmas

Hi, everyone!

Before sharing tonight's card, I'd like to give thanks to those who have served our country and those who are currently serving. Thoughts and prayers to those who are mourning the loss of a loved one who made the ultimate sacrifice. In our family, two uncles served during the Vietnam War and my father-in-law served in WWII. And, we were blessed that all three returned home.

As for tonight's card, I'm actually a little embarrassed to share it. It's a pretty basic card that was inspired by the current Tie a Holiday Ribbon Challenge over at Jingle Belles.... but it does feature a yummy crinkle ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Stampin' Up! dp and very vanilla cardstock; Recollections black cardstock
Hero Arts sentiment, in Versamark inks and heat embossed with Simon Says clear powder
Really Reasonbale Ribbon crinkle ribbon

Parting Thoughts

A quick reminder that there's a little over a week to play along with us at Words 2 Craft By. If you have a special someone that deserves a thank you, then this is a great time to play along with us for a chance to win $10 to the e-tailer of your choice.

Hope you find a little crafting time this holiday weekend. Until next time, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
