The Sky's The Limit

Hi, everyone! Hope the week's off to a good start.

I'm popping in to share a card inspired by the current CAS-ual Fridays Color and MFT Sketch Challenges.

Sorry about the quality of the photo. Like so much of the country, we've been stuck under some rain clouds that just won't go away.

  • I made a little cutie that's headed to a little one at Nationwide Children's, keeping the 60:30:10 rule in mind and using white and gray neutrals to complement the dominant mint color.
  • To add a little interest to the mint, I added paper-pieced corresponding SU dp and Versamark-inked-up cardstock elements to the featured air balloon.

SU mint macaroon cardstock and dp; Strathmore watercolor paper
MFT Up in the Air images; Lawn Fawn Plane and Simple sentiment
stamping in MFT charcoal gray hybrid ink; coloring with SU watercolor pencils
front panel: SU/Sizzix cloud embossing folder, MFT stenciled mini clouds in Hero Arts unicorn white
embellishments: Lawn Fawn mini snowflake die; SU baker's twine

Have a great week! As always, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
