SAS4Kids: Love/Valentine's Cards 4 Kids

Hi, everyone! Welcome to the start of this new year! YES, a new year! I wish only the best for you and your loved ones in 2021.

Before we get to the first SAS4Kids Challenge of 2021, we have SAS4Kids news to share!

  • For ten years, our fearless leader Karen has coordinated all things SAS4Kids... and we do mean ALL things. Karen has been the heart and soul of this wonderful organization. Karen has decided to step away from SAS4Kids' day-to-day operations. We offer our heartfelt thanks for all she has done for our group all these years. And, we are thrilled that Karen is going to stay on as an SAS4Kids Designer!!!
    • SAS4Kids shipper Jen is going to be handling most of our blog communications... things like announcements, card guidelines, and shipper information. I am taking over as DT Coordinator. (Yes, it's going to take at least two of us to take on Karen's many roles.)
  • And, as we start a new year of challenges, we very excited to have two new members joining our SAS4Kid DT. Bobbi and Celeste are longtime cardmakers, bloggers, talented crafters, and all around great gals! Welcome, Bobbi and Celeste!

Now, for our challenge. Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, our theme for this month is love/Valentine cards 4 kids. I was inspired to ink up a cute dino for my kiddie Valentine card!

Stampin' Up! cardstock and pattern paper
SU dino days images and sentiment; SU speech bubble die
My Favorite Things grass and heart speech bubble dies; MFT cloud stencil
sentiment heat embossed with Simon Says white embossing powder
fired brick and fossilized amber Distress Ink and Hero Arts unicorn white inks

Check out our amazing DT's cards at SAS4Kids, and then stop back by to link up a kiddie card of your very own! Even though this month's theme is Love/Valentine's, any kid-friendly card can be linked up for the challenge.

If you would like to send your card to an SAS4Kids hospital, that would be wonderful! Because of Covid, some hospital needs/requirements have changed. Card guidelines and shipper information can be found under our blog tabs.

As always, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
