SAS4Kids: Thank You Cards

Hi, everyone!

It's the first Saturday of the month... which means it's time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge!

Again, since we're between holidays, we're taking the opportunity to feature a category of cards we can't seem to get enough of -- thank you cards. When I was a shipper, my hospital liaison said this was the most commonly requested type of card by the kids' parents. So, when I make thank you cards, I try to make cards that look like they'd come from a child even though they might be written by a parent to a doctor/nurse/staff member.

For my cards, I used a sweet little stamp set that had a lot of spring and Easter sentiments. Luckily, it included a few thank you sentiments as well.

Stampin' Up! cardstock; My Favorite Things dp
Lawn Fawn spring critters stamp set
MFT petite cloud and grass dies; SU stitched square dies
stamping in Versamark black onyx; coloring with SU watercolor pencils

Hope you'll stop by the Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge blog and check out our DT thank you cards. Then, stop back by later this month to link up a card of your very own. Even though we are focusing on thank you cards this month, any kid-friendly card can be linked up for the challenge.

If you are interested in donating your card to one of our hospitals, please check each shipper's current needs. Due to Covid, not all of our hospitals are accepting cards at this time.

Thanks for stopping, and happy scrappin'!
