And Baby Makes Three, Eh?!

Hi, everyone!

Made 36 of the following card for a dear friend's daughter baby shower.  Really hope the mom-to-be -- who lives in Canada with her hockey-loving Canadian hubby -- likes these because there was a lot of Big Shot and hand cutting going on in my Cricut-less menopause room. Yep, that meant cutting out 72 ovals and 36 onesies by hand. Did I say I really hope that the mom-to-be likes these?!n  :)

Recollections seaside value pack; Bazzill white
computer-generated text (Kristen)
Stampin' Up! baker's twine
Creative Memories oval cutting system
Cuttlebug swiss dot embossing folder
adhesives: (lots of) Scotch ATG; Zots Glue Dots; Zig 2-way pen

Found a onesie template online. And CASEd the card at the right, using the supplies and tools I had on hand.

Linda asked that cards be flat and light to mail them without extra postage. So, I went brad-less, gem-less, pop-up-dot-less... and got a little twitchy! Hoping that I've added enough dimension and texture without using brads, gems, and foam squares.

Parting Thoughts

There is a fun pirate-inspired challenge going on at Words 2 Scrap By! We'd love for all our mateys to join us.

And, the newest Cards in Envy challenge went live yesterday. The challenge for the next couple of weeks is to make a song-inspired A2 card.

Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
