W2SB #23: Changing the Face of Men's Health

Hi, everyone! It's the first of the month, which means it's time for a new Words 2 Scrap By challenge. :)

I love the combination of the traditional, old-fashioned photo and background with the whimsical speech bubbles and pointing finger.  (When I found that finger in my stash I just had to use it!)

And, a classic black, brown, and white/cream palette is a favorite of mine for masculine, timeless looks. The brads in the top left and bottom right were used to "ground" the top and bottom of the card.

Bo Bunny timepiece (heat embossed with SU background stamp in clear powder)
Recollections black and white cardstock
Tim Holtz forgotten relatives photo and (pointing finger) ephemera
original computer-generated text in SU word bubbles; SU brads
Creative Memories oval cutting system
Recollections foam adhesives

Stampin' Up! word bubble die
computer-generated original sentiment
Recollections foam adhesives

Hope you'll stop by W2SB and check out the rest of the cards in our Inspiration Gallery. Then we'd love for you to come back and play along.

As for this card, it's headed to a former co-worker who first introduced me to the Movember movement... with a donation for the Movember Foundation.

Parting Thoughts

Today's the last day to play along with the trick-or-treat challenge going on at Cards in Envy. A new challenge will post tomorrow.  :)

Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'! See you over at W2SB.
