I'm back with an SAS4Kids valentine for a tween/teen. The older kids in our children's hospitals are often overlooked because it's just too much fun to make baby animal cards. But, it's not uncommon for patients at our hospitals to be in their teens.
So, here's a puzzle-inspired valentine for an older kid.

Love a classic red, black, and white palette... and what better palette for a Valentine's Day card. The idea for a puzzle card when doing a couple of puzzles in the daily newspaper. A little playing in a Word doc with text boxes and drawing tools produced the puzzle shown on the card. Hubby offered up two great suggestions: 1) Don't make the puzzle too tough, and 2) darken the boxes around the red letters.
There are actually two of these... with the hope of making a few more before the box ships. Hope there are a couple of puzzle lovers who will enjoy getting them. :)
Linking this up to the following challenges:
- SAS's Valentines or Love Cards 4 Kids... of course, and
- Shopping Our Stash's Something New... because of my attempt at making a word scramble card for the first time.
