I'm relatively new to the CIE DT. Sadly, I never had the opportunity to work with Denise. So, I went back through the CIE archives to view some of Denise's cards. As a tribute to Denise, I made the card below as a CASE of one of her CIE cards.
Here's the card inspired by Denise's September 2013 Manly Challenge card.
Thank you, Denise.
CASE of Denise Gray card Recollections silver glitter (inked with StazOn jet black) paper Recollections white, Bazzill black, and Stampin' Up! cherry cobbler cardstock MFT bionic bot images and sentiment in StazOn jet black, colored with Prismacolor pencils SU basic gray twine; Tim Holtz embossing folder; Paper Smooches heart dies adhesives: Scotch ATG; Recollections foam squares; Ranger multi medium matte |
Since I'd already sent in my Valentine cards to Nationwide Children's, I chose to make a card for SAS4Kids with hearts -- to meet our CIE challenge theme -- but kept it generic enough to be given to a little one at any time. I just adore these bitty bots from MFT. :)
In addition to CIE, I'm gonna link this little bot up to Simon Says Stamp's Have a Heart Challenge and Word Art Wednesday's Anything Goes Challenge.
See you on Wednesday with a new W2CB challenge. Until then, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
What a great tribute to Denise.
ReplyDeleteLove your cute card!
Thanks, Lisa. Wish I could've worked with Denise personally, but am so grateful she shared her talents with the CIE team.

DeleteThese cards are super cute. So blessed you joined our bi-weekly Challenge at Word Art Wednesday and hope you join us again for a new Challenge that started yesterday. Leaving you with the inspiration of God's Word in Isaiah 40:8 which tells us, "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever."
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week,
JO ANN
