Today, I'm sharing a card for the Purple, White, and Silver Challenge over at Merry Mondays.

The vellum techniques that Jennifer McGuire has been sharing recently were the other inspiration for this card. The white rectangular piece is a small notecard, mounted on colored layers, inside a vellum shell.As the pic shows, the silvery detailed tree is embossed on the front -- placed so that the purple base peeks through the silvery tree.
I played with different shades of purple sequins before deciding the silver. Think the silver ones added just the right finishing touch of sparkle.
Parting Thoughts
The April/May Challenge at Words 2 Craft By is inspired by the Byron Caldwell Smith quote: Our spring has come at last with the soft laughter of April suns an shadow of April showers.
