Before sharing my card, I'd like to send thoughts, prayers, and gratitude to those who commemorate this weekend with heavy hearts.
SUPER DUPER Gift Card Holders
Today's project has a bit of a patriotic feel to it. These gift card holders are going to twin boys who are donating some of the books they've outgrown to a local school district's summer meal program. They're going to find a handwritten thank you and a couple of DQ bucks when they open them up. :)
I went with a basic tri-fold design. The twine and sentiment slide off for easy opening and closing. And, since these are going to twin boys, I kept the design the same -- simply switching the blue and red portions.
I'm going to classify these as non-cards and link them up at the Shopping Our Stash Challenge. (Hope that's okay with the SOS team.) I'm also sharing them over at Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes.
Parting Thoughts
One last reminder that our Words 2 Craft By challenge runs through this Thursday. I really am surprised that we only have a few cards/projects in the gallery. We'd love for you to join our challenge and take a chance at winning that MFT gift certificate.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
