Santa Saturday Kit #2

Hi, everyone! Hope the week is off to a great start.

I have a holiday card kit to share that I'm making for an upcoming holiday event at our local library. But first, some cards for SAS4Kids.  :)

This week, I received a wonderful box of cards from Cyndi Amaya. Cyndi's shipment for Nationwide Children's included holiday cards, along with general sentiment and birthday greetings. Thanks so much, Cyndi!

Today's Card: Three Trees

It's always soooo nice when what's on my crafting table matches up with a favorite challenge. That's the case with the current Shopping Our Stash Three (or more) Trees Challenge.  :)

Stampin' Up Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, {idk} red; Recollections black; gold {idk} foil
SU festival of trees image and good greetings sentiment, in SU mossy meadow
SU/Sizzix folder; adhesives: Scotch ATG; Zig glue pen; Recollections foam squares

Today's card might look a little familiar to Jingle Belles' followers. That's because this card was in the works with JB posted it's {gah} Pink Challenge. So, I played with color combos to play along with this really special challenge.

Truth be told, I like the traditional holiday colors better for this particular card. This card is one of three that I'm kitting -- is that a word? -- for a tween/teen service activity at this year's Santa Saturday Event at our local library. More on that to come. (Card #1 is shown at the right. Two kits down, one to go!)

Parting Thoughts

Big day tomorrow... We're getting our new washer. We think this marks the third washer in our marriage. Not sure what the average age of washers are these days, but we seem to be averaging 16 years apiece. This next one might take us to our 50th anniversary. No, I really didn't type that, did I?! Whoa...

There's a week left in our Words 2 Craft By pup-inspired challenge. Naturally, we'd love for you to play along.  :)

Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!

  1. Such a simple design but it still packs a wow factor! Love your card, and that you are using it as a kit for the library! Awesome! Thanks for joining us at Shopping Our Stash!
