As for me, I can't believe it's time for another edition of Thankful Thursday.
I know it's been a little over a week since the election, but I'm trusting you'll permit me one last election-related musing.
When we went to Hilton Head in late September, we had plans to stay a while. We requested our Ohio absentee ballots be sent to us in South Carolina.
Unfortunately, our trip was cut short due to Hurricane Matthew... long before our ballot was mailed out. So, hubby called our local Board of Elections to see what we needed to do to be able to vote. Our election officials were able to cancel out our absentee ballots and reinstate our eligibility to vote at the polls.
We were so impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency of our local election officials. And, I am quite thankful for the procedures and safeguards that the State of Ohio has in place to protect and secure the voting privileges of its citizens.
A Christmas Critter
Remember that Stamp-a-Stack Event that I talked about earlier this week.Well, one of the card sets we made featured adorable CAS reindeer. :)
|Papers, Stamps, Ink, Washi Tape: ALL SU!|
Again, Stampin' Up! demonstrator and hostess-with-the-mostest Christine came up with the card's basic design. A few tweaks and voila... you have the card shown above.
I'm sharing this cutie over at the Simon Says Christmas Critter Challenge.
'Tis the season to receive fun, fun, fun holiday cards for the kids at Nationwide Children's. Today's cards come from repeat-sender Nicole in VA. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Nicole! Can't tell you how much I love those wobblies. :)
Don't forget about our Piglet-inspired gratitude challenge going on over at Words 2 Craft By. There is a chance for participants and followers to win SSS gift cards. Hope you'll play along with us over at W2CB.
Have a great Friday. Until next time -- tomorrow? -- thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
