cry. laugh. remember

Hi, everyone! Welcome to a Stamp-Club-inspired Thankful Thursday.

Last night's get-together was filled with emotions. There were remembrances of Make-N-Takes at Simon Says Stamp's recent CREATE event, laughter about an upcoming retirement, and tears over the recent loss of a beloved furry family member.

Fittingly, tonight's card is going to be sent to our friend who is mourning her dog's passing.

Bazzill cobblestone and Stampin' Up! black cardstocks; Distress Ink Victorian velvet core paper
My Favorite Things you make my tail wag paw print image
MFT pierced heart STAX dies; SU square stitched die; Simon Says A2 curved die
CMTH big hugs sentiment, in Versamark black onyx
Cuttlebug and SU/Sizzix embossing folders

The Bazzill cobblestone cardstock was a real fine at Tuesday Morning. Two 25-sheet packs were just #2.99 each! And, the sentiment came from one of those 17 CTMH stamp sets that I got as part of that amazing garage sale find a few weeks ago. Kind of balances out those MFT splurges.  :)

Speaking of MFT, this card was inspired by the current MFT Sketch. So, I'll be sharing this over at MFT.

And, because it is a furry friend sympathy card, I'm going to link it up at the Simon Says Furry Friends Challenge.

Parting Thoughts

Another quick reminder that our Words 2 Craft By Springtime = Party Time Challenge is still open. This challenge's words come to us from Robin Williams... and we'd love for you to join us.

Have a nice Friday. I hope to be back with a patriotic card this weekend. Until then, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!

  1. You nailed the sketch, Sybrina, but more importantly, you've made a beautiful card for your friend. I love that sediment and I'm sure it will bring her much comfort! Hugs, Darnell
