My Hero

As the daughter-in-law of a World War II veteran who flew missions over Germany and the niece of two uncles who served during the Vietnam era, I'd like to extend thoughts and prayers to those who commemorate the weekend with heavy hearts.

I made a set of the following card to include in the Father's Day box of cards that will be going to Nationwide Children's in the next week or so.

Neenaah soler white
Paper Smooches stamp sets: Super, Seeing Stars, Mirror Blocks
images and sentiment stamped in Versamark black onyx; PS super die
image colored with Prismacolor pencils
Recollections everyday value washis
large mirror block stamped in Distress Oxide fossilized amber
adhesive: foam backing to pop up our little hero

I needed to come up with a quick card to duplicate. This CAS design and a few strips of washi tape seemed to fit the bill nicely. Think the kids will enjoy giving these to their super hero dads.

Have a safe Memorial Day celebration. Until next time, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
