I'm here today with a Christmas card inspired by two current challenges:
- The current MFT Sketch Challenge and
- The All-Bundled Up Jingle Belles Challenge to make a card with at least three layers. By my count, there are five layers here: the card base, the background dp, the dp banner, the embossed cardstock heart, and the sentiment panel. :)
Okay, truth time. Is this heart and sentiment combo okay for a Christmas? Hubby just doesn't think this makes any sense at all. So, I assured him that I would send it to my side of our family tree. LOL (BTW... For what it's worth, the sentiment panel photographed a lot harsher than it is. It's a soft cream, but looks like a bright white.
Parting Thoughts
A new Words 2 Craft By Challenge starts on Wednesday. Other than that, think that's all I have for That's for tonight.
Have a great week! Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'. :)
xx
I am lovin' those layers ... I think the heart and sentiment work perfectly, especially for family ... so very glad you got bundled-up with us at jingle belles.
ReplyDeletewhat an amazingly beautiful and layery holiday card! and YES, i think the heart and sentiment are awesome, they say holiday without being tooooooo very xmassy-- you could send this to ANYONE in december and they'd feel totally included!
