SAS4Kids: Anything Goes

Hi, everyone! It's the first Saturday of the month... which means it's time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge. Our theme for the next few weeks is Anything Goes... my favorite!

We have two wonderful sponsors for this challenge: $So Suzy Stamps and Dies R Us. Each is offering a prize of a $15 gift certificate.

For my card, I used an adorable polka dot fish digi from So Suzy Stamps to create a sweet little fish family.  :)

Strathmore watercolor paper; SU stash dp; Recollections black
So Suzy Stamps digital fish stamp, printed on Distress Ink scattered straw
fish colored with Prismacolor pencils and embellished with Wink of Stella
waves inked in Distress Inks peacock feathers and salty ocean; Glossy Accents bubbles
sky and sun inked in Distress Oxides broken china, fossilized amber, fired brick
waves created with make-shift die made using a Paper Smooches wave/scallop die
Paper Smooches ocean scene dies used for tiny circles in top left corner
waves and sun spritzed with MFT Shimmer Mist
Paper Smooches courteous cuties sentiment, stamped in Distress Ink black soot
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Xyron; foam backing; Zig 2-way glue pen

These waves were inked using a handy-dandy Jennifer McGuire technique. (Looked for it on her blog to share the link, but didn't see it. Darn! Will keep looking.) Think this colorful card will bring a big smile to a little face.  :)

I'm sharing this over at the We're Going Around in Circles and Anything Goes Simon Says Challenges.   :)

Hope you'll play along with this Anything Goes Challenge. Can't wait to see what you're inspired to make for a special little one.  :)
