Sparkles Christmas: Non-Traditional Colors

Hi, everyone! It's the first of a new month... which means it's time for a new Sparkles Christmas Challenge.

This month's theme is Non-Traditional Colors, and was chosen by fellow DTer Helen. What a fun idea for a holiday card challenge! Thanks, Helen!

I thought broken china, worn lipstick.... and some purple glitter might make for an interesting combination.  Of course, I'm enjoying any and all opportunities to play with Tim's new Oxides. And, I was pretty happy at my successful alignment of those embossed blue and glittery purple snowflakes.  :)

Strathmore watercolor; Bazzill stash blue textured cardstock
watercolor paper inked in Distress Oxides worn lipstick and broken china
Hero Arts stunning snowflakes background stamp
image stamped in Versamark, embossed in clear powder
image also stamped in Ranger sticky powder and coated with stash purple glitter
watercolor paper inked in Distress Oxides worn lipstick and broken china
Stampin' Up! stitched square die; Really Reasonable Ribbon ribbon
adhesives: Scotch ATG; foam backing

Hope you'll stop by Sparkles Christmas and check out the gals' non-traditional color combos. Our DT really outdid themselves on this one.

Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
