Thankful Thursday... and a Wish for Peace

Hi, everyone! Hope it's been a good week.

Thankful Thursday

This week, I'm thankful for last week. My brother and his family were in town. Even though they only live a day's drive away.... they live a day's drive away. So, visits are far fewer than we would like... and are always cherished. It was wonderful getting to spend some quality time with the family.  :)

Today's Card

Since family was visiting, I worked ahead on DT assignments... and it had been a while since I spent some quality time in the menopause room. Leave it to Steph and Lauren to coax me back in. Today's card was inspired by the Jingle Belles Peace on Earth Challenge. Boy, talk about a timely theme.

Strathmore watercolor paper; Stampin' Up! black; ??? white card base
Walter & Winnie big, bold, merry in Versamark black onyx
Distress Inks: Oxide broken china; "regular" peacock feathers and seedless preserves
Simon Says trellis decorative mask; MFT double stitched rectangular STAX die
Pretty Pink Posh sequins
adhesives: Scotch ATG; foam backing; Ranger multi medium matte

Parting Thoughts

Short and sweet today. Just a quick reminder that a new Words 2 Craft By Challenge started yesterday. We'd love for you to play along... and there's a $10 gift certificate up for grabs.

Have a great day! Until next time, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
