W2CB #44: A vacation is....

Hi, everyone! It's the second Wednesday of the month... which means it's time for a new Words 2 Craft By Challenge. Our words for this month come to us from Robert Orben.

A vacation is having nothing to do and all day to do it in.

When I think vacation, I think beach. So, I pulled out one of my favorite beach-y stamp sets to make a card that will be headed to Nationwide Children's on behalf of Send a Smile 4 Kids. (And, that flip-flop background, stamped one flip flop at a time. Yep, I'm just a tad touched. LOL)

Stampin' Up! and Recollection black; stash coral cardstock; Distress Ink core paper
Strathmore watercolor paper; My Favorite Things dp
Lawn Fawn life is good images in Versamark black onyx
Two Paper Divas sentiment  heat embossed with Versamark and SU white embossing powder
sky: Distress Oxide fossilized amber and fired brick
tree: Distress bundled sage, mowed lawn, antique linen, vintage photo, walnut stain
sand: antique linen and vintage photo; starfish: fired brick
circles: SU owl builder and cupcake punches, with Wink of Stella enhancements
adhesives: Scotch ATG and foam backing
There are lots of ways to go with this quote. In addition to vacations, the following come to mind: summertime, day trips, road trips, camping, travel, and staycations come to mind.

So, how will you interpret these words? Link up your interpretation at W2CB for a chance to win $10 to the e-tailer of your choice.  :)

  1. I love your beachy card, Sybrina! You are a trooper to have stamped all those flippin' flip flops so perfectly to make your own DSP! There are a LOT of them and I would have been shaking by that last row, lol!! Hugs, Darnell
