A No-Frills Card for my No-Frill Men

Hi, everyone! Hope you've had a great weekend.

I'm here to share a no-frills birthday card for my stoic, no-frills father-in-law... per the request of my no-frills, stoic hubby. No brads, no sequins, no ribbons, no ANYTHING! And, boy is this hard to do. LOL

Bo Bunny farmer's market dp; stash Bazzill burnt orange and Stampin' Up! espresso cardstocks
Simon Says Stamp you matter sentiment
sentiment and gold strip stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with gold Recollections powder
SU/Sizzix embossing powder; adhesives: Scotch ATG, foam backing

Okay, I may have gotten an okay to add a few die-cut leaves. Wow! Regardless, I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out, and I really like the embossing on the pattern paper. Gotta remember to do that more often.

Parting Thoughts

There are still a few days to play along with our autumn-themed challenge at Words 2 Craft By. And, there's even more time to throw your hat in the ring to become a W2CB I-Teamer. Details can be found here!

Have a great week! As always, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
