so grateful

Hi, everyone! Happy Monday, especially for those of you who are enjoying a 3-day weekend.

Today, I have a trio of CAS thank you cards that I'll be sharing over at Shopping Our Stash. I have to say it's nice to be playing over there. I love that challenge blog, but haven't had a chance to play recently.

Bazzill (cobblestone ?) cardstock; stash apricot and red cardstocks; SU vellum
CTMH November Word Puzzle sentiment in SU mossy meadow
leaves stamped in CTMH sunset or heat embossed with copper powder
SU twine; adhesives: Ranger multi medium matte, SU mini dimensionals

Okay, these are really CAS. Maybe too CAS for SOS? The design was inspired by a card sent to me by SAS4Kids cardmaker Jennifer Kubo. Thanks. Jennifer, for a great idea! Just wish I knew how to use washi tape as well as you do.... because I like my card but really love yours.

A few design elements about my card:

  • The base paper is slightly textured. So it didn't stamp as cleanly as I would like -- even after re-stamping with the MISTI, but I do love the paper.
  • That base paper is exactly the same, although you'd never knw that from this pic. LOL. Think it's Bazzill cobblestone. Know it was a great find at Tuesday Morning.  :)
  • The focal point rectangle of the middle card is a second-generation-stamped image. I made 30 of these, 15 of which were second-generation stamps.
  • Speaking of the middle card, the stamped leaf image is copper embossed.

Parting Thoughts

A new W2CB Challenge starts on Wednesday. Hope to see you there,

Have a great day. Until next time, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!

  1. Glad you could join us! These are just terrific little cards-- glad you made three!
CAS is definitely allowed! As far as I'm concerned, so long as you are using "stash," you're good! Always glad to have you at SOS! Hope to see you this week for a shoe challenge... I know you have shoe stamps-- it seems like you must!
