W2CB #51: Phenomenal Woman

Women's History month is the inspiration for our March/April Words 2 Craft By words, which come to us from the phenomenal Maya Angleou.

I was so fortunate to hear Dr. Angelou speak on two occasions, and was left speechless both times. One of those times, I was with my best friend... who will probably be the recipient of the card shown below.  :)

Stampin' Up! dp, 2016-18 cardstock, and vellum
computer-generated text
Paper Smooches botanicals 2 dies; MFT STAX rectangular dies; tiny circles: SU owl builder punch
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Zig 2-way glue pen; Miracle Tape

Hope you'll stop by W2CB to check out our I-Team's amazing cards.... and then come back by to link up a card/project of your very own for a chance to win a gift certificate from an e-tailer of your choice. Sounds like a perfect time to make something special for a phenomenal woman in your life.

Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!

  1. I absolutely love your pretty card, Sybrina, and I love your text. We must be "on the same wavelength", choosing purple as our dominant colour.

I am so envious that you actually witnessed Dr. Angelou speak...not once, but twice...what a privilege. Sadly, she is no longer with us, and in the last few minutes I just heard that Stephen Hawking passed today. It is so sad when we lose these wonderfully inspirational people.

  2. Love this card Sybrina! Great take on the inspiration phrase!

  3. Love how you used the definition as your focal point - very clever!
