SAS4Kids: Spring/Easter Cards 4 Kids

Hi, everyone! It's the first Saturday of the month... which means it's time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids {Monthly} Challenge.

While most challenge blogs are featuring valentines, hearts, and messages of love, we've moved on here at SAS4Kids. This month, we're focusing on Easter and spring cards for our kids. By now, our shippers have sent out their Valentine boxes and are setting their sights on spring-y cards.  :)

My card features a pastel-paper-pieced Mama Elephant bunny... perfect for spring, but versatile enough to be used for a variety of occasions.

CASE of Fran Vogeli's adorable card shown at right. Thanks, Fran, for sharing your sweet little CAS card. I was in need of some quick and easy cards for SAS4Kids and Cards for Little Hearts. This little critter made for some wonderful inspiration. :)

Since I typically color with watercolor pencils, I went with a little paper piecing for the bunny.

Hope you'll stop by SAS4Kids and check out the gals' cards.... and then stop back by to link up a card of your very own.

Until next time, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!

  1. Sybrina, this card is beyond sweet! I love the great paper piecing and that plaid paper is fabulous!
