Hi, everyone!
It's the first Saturday of the month... which means it's time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge!
Remember last month when I said the spring was a busy, busy time for our shippers? As soon as they finish boxing up all of your wonderful Mom Cards, they will be turning their attention to Dad cards. So, for this month's challenge, our DT is focusing on cards for our kids to give to dads, grandpas, and special guys in their lives.
For my card, I opted for a non-traditional approach. I went with some fun colors and clever speech/text bubble sentiments. To make this card a little more versatile, I went with generic "dad" sentiments as opposed to specific "father's day" wishes.
Stampin' Up! cardstock; My Favorite Things dp MFT all about dad stamps MFT text bubble and stitched rectangular dies sentiments heat embossed with Simon Says Stamp white powder |
Hope you'll stop by the Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge blog and check out our DT dad/guy cards. Then, stop back by later this month to link up a card of your very own. Even though we are focusing on dad/guy cards, any kid-friendly card can be linked up for the challenge.
If you are interested in donating your card to one of our hospitals, please check each shipper's current needs. Due to Covid, not all of our hospitals are accepting cards at this time.
Thanks for stopping, and happy scrappin'!
Love this card! How fun are those speech bubbles?!
