SAS4Kids: Mom/Special Lady Cards

Hi, everyone!

It's hard to believe today is the first of April. It's even harder to believe that the SAS4Kids deadline for Mother's Day cards is April 15... which is just two weeks away! No fooling!!! These are cards for the kids to give to give to the moms (or special ladies) in their lives.

My card was inspired by fellow cardmaking friend Suzanne who shared a great technique for using up scraps of paper. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up stamp set, and the papers are leftover SU dsp. To make this card more versatile (Mother's Day, birthdays, etc), I went with a generic "amazing mother" sentiment.

Hope you'll stop by the SAS4Kids challenge blog and check out our DT's cards. Looks like the kids' moms will be getting lots and lots of flowers and hearts this year. Then hope you'll stop back by and link up a card of your very own.

Thanks for stopping.... and happy scrappin'!
