W2CB #68: Picnic

Hi, everyone! It's the second Wednesday of the month... which means it's time for a new Words 2 Craft By Challenge.

This month, we are inspired by the waning days of summer... even though teachers and kids here in Ohio are headed back to school. Our words for this challenge come to us from Five Go Off in a Caravan by Enid Blyton.

I don't know why, but the meals we have on picnics
always taste so much nicer than the ones we have indoors.

So, what's a picnic without a red-checkered tablecloth and a couple of hungry ants?!

Stampin' Up! cardstock
Hero Arts stamps and dies;: Lawn Fawn words and Paper Smooches heart
ants in Versamark black onyx, text and heart heat embossed in SU white powder
??? background stamp in Distress Oxide fired brick
SU speech bubble die; MFT grassy dies; tiny hearts: SU owl builder punch
hand-drawn stitching in black marker

Of course, our W2CB challenge winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to the online merchant of her/his choice. So, stop by to see a couple more inspiration projects and then stop back by to link up a card/project of your own.

See you in the W2CB Gallery!

  1. What a super-cute card, Sybrina. Normally I would never consider calling ants when on a picnic "cute", but in this case I will definitely make a big exception!! That red-checked 'tablecloth' is a brilliant touch too.

    Jennifer. x

  5. Fabulous card Sybrina. I'm not too keen on ants sharing my food but I'd definitely make an exception for these little cuties xx
