CAS 4 Kids

Hi, everyone!

Seems like forever since I've posted. It was a wonderful visit with my brother and nephews! Can't tell you how much I appreciated not having to juggle work responsibilities when they were in town. And, the flexibility to spontaneously meet them for a breakfast was just wonderful.  :)

They left for home this weekend. So, I finally made it back to the menopause room. I'm actually working on a couple more cards, but I have a card made for the current SAS4Kids CAS challenge. And, boy did I ever go CAS on this one.   :)

Canson watercolor paper; Recollections black and glitter papers
Paper Smooches spreading sunshine and just a note stamp sets
Paper Smooches easel die
stamps inked in various Distress Inks
silver glitter paper for easel inked in StazOn jet black
Stampin' Up! owl builder punch (for tiny circles in top right corner)
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Zig 2-way glue pen

I just adore this new Paper Smooches easel and jumped at the chance to use it on a card! And, Kim's Spreading Sunshine stamp set offers the most uplifting messages -- perfect for sending smiles to hospitalized little ones and perfectly sized to fit on this little easel.

I'm linking this little easel up for the October Guest Designer Search.

Parting Thoughts

There are still a few days to play along in the Cards in Envy birthday party challenge. And, there are still a couple of weeks to play along in our Words 2 Scrap By start-of-school, book-inspired challenge -- because kids are going back to school ALREADY!

Hope to be back in the next day or so with a couple of cards for a two card drives. Until then, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!

  1. LOVE that wee little easel and the colored word - and the splat in the corner. Surely will bring a smile.

  2. I love the Clean & Simple design Sybrina. I struggle so much with this type of card. Great to see you at Send a Smile 4 Kids. Thanks for your entry. See you back at Cards in Envy :)
