- The birthday card was requested by the mother of a young man with cerebral palsy. Please click here to learn more if you would like to send a card for this drive.
- The hugs card is for a woman who has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Her daughter would love for her mom to receive cards to lift her spirits and brighten her days. If you are interested in sending a card, please contact me by PM or e-mail.
Both cards were made using the inlaid technique shared by Jennifer McGuire during the recent Background Online Card Class.
- What a great class! To make sure the sentiments popped, the cutaways are two-ply and the typewriter-like text is heat embossed.
- Since the birthday card is going to a teenage boy, I wanted to stick with a blue background. But, I added the SU pattern (in mustard seed) to add a funky green element.
Have a great Friday! Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
I love the simple, yet colorful design of these cards with the big, bold, embossed sentiments! The soft pastel colors look perfect with the tiny black heart and circle embellishments too! I'm sure the cards will be enjoyed by each recipient!
