I used the current Mojo Monday sketch for this little mummy card. Loved the sketch, and thought it made for a great focal point for a Halloween character. I thought the background panel in the sketch could make for an interesting treatment. During a recent stamp club get-together, we played with a background technique that used lots of strips. So, why not go with all white strips in a random pattern to mimic the mummy's wrapping. I then carried the idea through to the black horizontal strip and the sentiment.
So, I decided to break in one of those $1.50 bin stamps from Michael's. (Now that I'm making cards for SAS4Kids instead of OWH, I needed to some Halloween items to my stash. Who doesn't love an

This is super cute! I saw this over at Darnell's NBUS challenge and had to pop over to comment - I love the texture you added to the background panel and to the layer behind the image. I also love the way you broke up the sentiment - it really complements the mummy so well!
