One Sleeping Mouse and Three Dancing Reindeer

Hi, everyone!

'Tis the season to make Christmas crafts. And, I have two projects to share that couldn't be more different in style.

One Sleeping Mouse

So, let's start with the sweet one, which I'm going to link up to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog Tag It Challenge.

Echo Park this and that dp; Distress Ink core green paper
stash tag and tiny gem; Creative Twist bow
House Mouse Designs image in StazOn jet black
computer generated sentiments
Paper Smooches Holly and Bow dies; SU owl builder punch (for tiny circle)
Stampin' Up! wood grain background stamp in DI antique linen
inking in DI vintage photo and walnut stain

Three Dancing Reindeer

original post
You might remember that uber-talented Leslie over at The Crooked Stamper chose one of my cards as the inspiration for CSSC #11 and invited me to join her as a Guest Designer. Naturally, I was quite flattered and went to work making the card at the right for Leslie's challenge.

Truth be told, I had a different card in mind -- a rather twisted take on dancing, playful reindeer -- when I ordered this Mama Elephant adorable stamp set. And, I made two -- and only two -- of this card: one for my dad and one for my brother. This card is going to be linked up to the current Simon Says Stamp Monday Blog Holly Jolly Stamping Challenge.

SU cherry cobbler; Recollections black and white cardstock
Mama Elephant reindeer games and Lawn Fawn booyah stamps
computer-generated sentiment
Ranger stickles

Sound familiar? If my brother heard this admonition once we heard it dozens of time. So, when I saw the little eye patch in the Lawn Fawn Booyah set... Forgive me, but I just couldn't resist the temptation to make these for my dad and 'lil bro.  Sorry, Rudy.  :(

  1. Those reindeer are stinkin' cute. I haven't opened my set yet, and I'm done making cards. So sad.
