Last night, when I was working on a Day 1 Online Card Class card, I had a Eureka moment. (Don't you love it when that happens?!) What if.... I tried using washi to attach the vellum?
- The background piece was created using a Stampin' Up! decorative mask. I masked -- no pun intended -- diagonal rows of the of the mask in Distress Inks using a Ranger blending tool.
- I went with this stencil because I thought its polka-dot-like pattern would go well with the pink and white polka dot washi tape.
- When the "& bright" seemed to get lost against the pattern, I embossed it on a white strip of paper... and I really like the result. It felt really Jennifer-Kristina-Laura-like to me.
Now, off to Day 2 videos. Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
Gotta love eureka moments! It's a fantastic card!!!
