Our inspiration words for the next few weeks come from Bitsofwisdom.org and are perfect for graduations, weddings... and retirements. :)
This is the beginning, of anything you want.
These words inspired me to make the card below for a former manager who is retiring at the end of the month.
Shelle was a wonderful manager because she is so smart, so thoughtful, and so very kind. Work was important, but never more important than the people on her team.
The background of my card is one of my favorite papers from the DCWV pack -- I just love this gorgeous blue. I cut it into four panels as an homage to Shelle's passion for quilting. Then, I went with heart accents to bring out the coral color in the paper and to tie in with the sentiment.
So, what big day or milestone event do these words bring to mind? Go forth and create -- and then share with us at W2CB. We can't wait to see what you make. :)
I can see why that paper is one of your faves! It's a beautiful blue and I like how you used 4 panels. Your friend, Shelle will love this card! Hugs, Annie

ReplyDeleteLove the panels, hearts, sentiment--a perfect retirement card, Sybrina! Thanks for the encouragement & support during my time at W2CB!
ReplyDeleteThe split panels look so fun on this great send-off card! I like how you personalized it with the recipient's name. She's going to love this as much as you're going to miss working with her I'm sure!
