It's a Fall Harvest for Kids

Hi, everyone!

Hope the week's started off well. It's been a big day around here. Our new neighbors moved in today -- a mom with four kids and two dogs... and a nursing career. We met the family today and are so excited they have moved in to the neighborhood.  :)

Today's Card: A Fall Harvest

I'm here to share a card inspired by the current SAS4Kids Fall Cards 4 Kids and Mojo Monday Challenges.

I recently saw a retired Stampin' Up! stamp set for sale and immediately thought the largest stamp would make a great paper-pieced element for an SAS4Kids card. I ended up loving the paper-pieced panel so much, that I went totally neutral tone-on-tone for the sketch's left rectangle and banners. When I played with colorful elements here, I felt like they took attention away from the mosaic-like focal point.

Crate Paper farmhouse dp; various Distress Ink core papers; Stampin' Up! very vanilla and basic gray
SU thoroughly thoughtful stamp, heat embosssed with Versamark and Recollections gold powder
gray background papers and farmhouse rulers inked in DI hickory smoke applied with Ranger blending tool
Simon Says Stamp fall sequins; SU/Sizzix embossing folder, pattern distressed with SU sanding tool
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Ranger multi medium matte; Recollections foam squares

Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
