Looks Like Reindeer Really Do Know How to Fly!

Hi, everyone! Hope this finds you safe and sound.

I'm back tonight with a quick post for a slider card that was inspired by
Day 2 of the Wild Card Online Card Class.

As the song says, reindeer really do know how to fly!

To cut out the channels, I made use of an oldie-but-goldie Creative Memories oval cutting system. I wanted a curved path, but couldn't create these arcs using the partial die cut technique. The ends of the channels aren't quite as precise as I would like, but I'm really happy with the overall effect.

The CAS design and subtle background coloring were inspired by Laura Bassen's artistry.

Strathmore watercolor; Neenah Soler white; Distress Ink fired brick
Mama Elephant reindeer game images, stamped in StazOn jet black and colored with Prismacolor pencils
channels: Creative Memories oval cutting system
Simon Says A2 curve and Paper Smooches stitched dies
inking with DI tumbled glass and broken china, applied with Ranger blending tool
inside sentiment: Paper Smooches holly days stamp set; SU twine
bling: MFT shimmer mist; Doodlebug lily white sprinkles; Wink of Stella; candy cane stickles
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Zig 2-way glue pen; Ranger multi medium matte; Elmer's foam tape

Short and sweet tonight!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
