And, first and foremost, I hope that it's a safe weekend for those on the East Coast. We came back early from our trip down to Hilton Head.... and are thankful that our South Carolinian friends have evacuated to higher ground.
Today's WILD Card!
I've really been enjoying this week's Wild Card Online Card Class. The instructors have presented so many great techniques. I especially enjoyed ideas for shaking up shaker cards. (Yep, pun intended. Sorry... I just couldn't resist!)
So, a thought came to me to combine the gate fold and surprise shaker ideas.
The card below was inspired by the current Mojo Sketch, which has an element perfect for a shaker surprise, and the current Shopping Our Stash Duck, Duck Goose Challenge, which is to include feather or bird elements on a card/project.

I was actually pretty true to this sketch. Amazing, right?! The only change was leaving off the embellishments in the upper left corners. However, since I added a ribbon to close the gate fold, I decided to forego the other banners/ribbons/bows here.
Think I'll also share this over at the SAS4Kids Early Holiday Wishes 4 Kids Challenge.
Speaking of SAS4Kids, big thanks to Penny Wierzbicki of TX for the wonderful cards she sent for Nationwide Children's. The boy cards are especially appreciated. :)
Think that's it for tonight. Have a good weekend!
Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
