YOU rock my world

Hi, everyone! Happy, Happy Friday!

I made more progress than expected with my SAS4Kids Valentines box this morning. So, I played with crayons -- Distress Crayons, to be accurate -- this afternoon.

Strathmore watercolor paper; Stampin' Up! black cardstock and vellum
Simon Says You Matter sentiment in StazOn jet black and NBUS coordinating die
Paper Smooches teen scene note image
NBUS Distress Crayons (peacock feathers, twisted citron) with Memory Box stencil
Pretty Pink Posh sparkling crystal sequins
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Xyron (for vellum), and Ranger multi medium (for sequins)

This was my first time playing with these crayons... and it was tons of fun. LOVE the grunge look of this card, which will be a teen card for SAS4Kids. I went with grunge and blue to appeal to a teen boy, but just couldn't resist the sequins. Oh, well.... Hubby would not be pleased.

I'm going to share this at Darnell's current NBUS Challenge. Speaking of Darnell, hope she's doing well after today's operation. I was so sorry to hear about that.  :(

This is also going to be shared at:

Parting Thoughts

There's still time to play along with us at W2CB. We have two Simon Says gift certificates up for grabs -- one for our challenge winner and one for a randomly selected follower. Hope to see your handiwork in our gallery.  :)

Thanks for stopping, happy scrappin'... and have a great weekend!
