Romance in Pink, Red, & White

Happy Valentine's Day! Wishing you a day filled with.... chocolate.... lots and lots of chocolate. LOL

The card I'm sharing today was inspired by the current CAS-ual Fridays Color Challenge.

Stampin' Up! whisper white; Distress Ink spun sugar, worn lipstick, and fired brick core paper
SU Basket Bunch images, in DI hickory smoke and colored with Prismacolor pencils

basket heat embossed in DI hickory smoke and Hampton Arts clear powder
SU Basket Builder dies; Paper Smooches stitched die
SU decorative mask inked in Distress Ink spun sugar, applied with Ranger blending tool

I'm also going to share this over at the following challenges.

Parting Thoughts

Whether you're dining with a sweetie, sipping wine with good friends, or watching a good movie while eating popcorn in your PJs, have a wonderful day. Do something special for those special people in your life, including yourself.

On a crafting note, I am so excited to have won a prize from one of Darnell's NBUS Challenges. I just love Darnell and so appreciate all she does for the crafting community. Thanks, Darnell!

Until next time, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!

Here is another bright and cheery card by you... certainly a sweet card that can be construed as romantic... guess it depends on who you give it to and what you write, LOL! 3. Wow! This card is absolutely stunning! I love, love, LOVE how you created the subtle ombre effect in the background that blends from darker to light. It is expertly done and I really like the way the pattern emerges diagonally, too, and becomes more defined as you look closer toward the basket. And that basket is adorable! This is sophisticated and so very cute at the same time. You did an amazing job on this and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
