Today I'm sharing a a prototype of a card that teens will be making at this year's Santa Saturday library extravaganza. One of the librarians asked me if I'd be interested in hosting another card-making event for older kids and their parents. What a silly question. Right?!
My friend Mary Anne donated a small embossing machine to the library, so a request was made for the cards to include an embossing element. I also thought the kids would enjoy coloring a Santa-crazed little pup.
- Darnell's current NBUS challenge. The NBUS items are new packs of red and green cardstock... which was purchased at a Michael's post-Christmas sale... in hope of using it with the kids on Santa Saturday.
- the current Jingle Belles Emboss Around the Christmas Tree challenge. Life's recently gotten in the way of playing at JB -- and this is by no means fancy. But, it has an embossing element, nonetheless!
To see a gussied up version of this card, designed for a child at Nationwide Children's, check out this month's Sparkles Christmas post. :)
Parting Thoughts
