Hi, everyone! It's the first of the month.. which means it's time for a new Sparkles Christmas Challenge!
The Sparkles DT takes turns choosing the monthly challenge theme. This month, the honor is all mine. Of course, with my work for Send a Smile 4 Kids, I couldn't pass up the opportunity for our team to make kiddie cards. So, our theme for the month is: Christmas is for Kids!
For my this challenge, I used stash glitter paper, a fun doggie image, a punny sentiment, and an embossed background paper to make a card perfect for a kid. And, I have to say, I'm pretty darn pleased with the way this paper-pieced pup turned out. :)
Stop by Sparkles Christmas and see our DT gals' cards. Then stop back by and link up a card/project of your own. :)
BTW This is a gussied up version of a card designed for teens to make at the local library's Santa Saturday celebration that posted yesterday. Today's card will be sent to a child at Nationwide Children's. Since today's card also has an embossed element, I'm going to share it at the current Jingle Belles Emboss Around the Christmas Tree challenge.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend. As always, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!
See you in the Sparkles Christmas Gallery!
I love how the colors on this puppy really pop ... thanks again for *embossing around the Christmas Tree* with us at Jingle Belles.
