yo-ho-ho!

Hi, everyone! I'm here today to share two cards.

Card 1

The first card was inspired by the current Paper Smooches Sketch Challenge. When I saw that horizontal rectangle, I immediately thought of waves. Then, I decided the vertical rectangle could be a far-off ship sailing through those waters.

This card will probably be going to the hubby of a dear friend. He's retiring in May, and I hear there may be a pirate-themed party in the works.

MFT dp; Stampin' Up! cardstock and vellum; Distress Ink core paper

Card 2

The second card is posted at Words 2 Craft By as a quick reminder that our current challenge runs through next Wednesday. It's going to a local children's hospital... for an older patient to give to her/his mom for mother's day.
