Twofer Card Challenge #6: Trees

Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday!

I'm popping in to share a pair of cards inspired by the newest Twofer Challenge.

Both cards were created using the Hero Arts Birds and Blossoms layered stamp set.

The card on the left is an anniversary card for my brother and sister-in-law. The wedding colors were yellow and green, featuring yellow flowers. So, I layered stamps to create a tree with pretty yellow blooms and chose coordinating papers to complete the design.
Authentique dp; Stampin' Up! cardstock

tree stamped in various CTMH browns and MFT chocolate fudge
blossoms stamped in Oxide fossilized amber and MFT steel gray inks
sentiment stamped in MFT steel gray
SU stash card-kit embellishments and linen thread

The card on the right highlights one branch from the set, shown in a classic silhouette design with copper-embossed blossoms.

  1. These are so pretty, Sybrina! It was very clever of you to make a tree for the anniversary card using their wedding colors and it's gorgeous! They will cherish it! And your sweet vase is so striking on that beautiful coppery thank you card! Two sensational designs! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #6! Hugs, Darnell

  2. Two very different cards but both equally beautiful!

  3. Two beauties, Sybrina! Spotted them at the Twofer challenge and just love both! Especially love the branch in vase with the delicate flowers!!

  4. I'm so happy you stopped by my blog and thank you for the nice comment. I seriously love both of your cards. Your brother and sister in law will be so pleased to see this card and that you made in their wedding colors. So cool to use just one branch and I love the vase and copper.

  5. Your anniversary card is beautiful, and I love how you tailored it especially for the couple. I would bet money that none of our siblings remember the colors of our wedding! The lone branch with copper embossing has a cool modern look, especially in that vase! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

  6. Wonderful Twofers! The anniversary card is so pretty and it's so fun to be able to personalize our cards using the wedding colors! Love the modern look of the single branch in a vase for your Thank You card!
Thank you for playing with us at the Twofer!

  7. What a special anniversary card using the colours of their wedding as inspiration. The happy couple is going to love this Sybrina!

And beautiful classic design using the one branch silhouette with vase. The copper and black are so elegant together. This card has an Asian look to it --- very serene and peaceful. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge!
