Twofer Card Challenge #6: Trees

Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday!

I'm popping in to share a pair of cards inspired by the newest Twofer Challenge.

Both cards were created using the Hero Arts Birds and Blossoms layered stamp set.

The card on the left is an anniversary card for my brother and sister-in-law. The wedding colors were yellow and green, featuring yellow flowers. So, I layered stamps to create a tree with pretty yellow blooms and chose coordinating papers to complete the design.
Authentique dp; Stampin' Up! cardstock
Hero Arts Birds and Blossoms images; SU sentiment
tree stamped in various CTMH browns and MFT chocolate fudge
blossoms stamped in Oxide fossilized amber and MFT steel gray inks
sentiment stamped in MFT steel gray
SU stash card-kit embellishments and linen thread

The card on the right highlights one branch from the set, shown in a classic silhouette design with copper-embossed blossoms.
??? gifted stash dp; Stampin' Up! black cardstock
Hero Arts Birds and Blossoms images; Paper Smooches vase and sentiment
vase, tree branch, and sentiment inked in Versamark black onyx
blossoms heat embossed with Versamark and SU copper powder

  5. Your anniversary card is beautiful, and I love how you tailored it especially for the couple. I would bet money that none of our siblings remember the colors of our wedding! The lone branch with copper embossing has a cool modern look, especially in that vase! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

  7. What a special anniversary card using the colours of their wedding as inspiration. The happy couple is going to love this Sybrina!

And beautiful classic design using the one branch silhouette with vase. The copper and black are so elegant together. This card has an Asian look to it --- very serene and peaceful. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge!
