SAS4Kids: Winter Cards 4 Kids

Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday... and Happy December!!! Yep, I'm in shock like everyone else, but that's what the calendar says. YIKES!!!

It's the first Saturday of the month, which means it's time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids challenge. As always, any kid-focused cards are welcome. For this challenge, our DT focused on winter cards.

The card below was actually mailed to a card drive for the pediatric cardiology unit at Nationwide Children's. So, I made a card that could be used for Christmas (red and green), Valentine's  (a heart), or plain old winter (a reindeer dancing on snow with a few snowflakes for goodness sake).

Strathmore watercolor paper; SU cardstock and dp; stash (Bazzill?) white textured paper
Mama Elephant tiny reindeer image, in Versamark black onyx and colored with SU watercolor pencils
My Favorite Things Birdie Brown (masked) sentiment in Versamark black onyx
sky inking: peacock feathers Distress Oxide
MFT, SU, and Nestabilities circle/scalllop dies
tiny heart: SU cookie builder punch; snowflakes: EK border punch

Hope you'll stop by SAS4Kids to see our DT's fun cards, and then stop back by to link up a card of your very own.

As always, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'! See you in the SAS4Kids Gallery!!!
