Heartfelt Emotions

Hi, everyone! Hope your holidays have been happy.

Holiday Joy

We've been having lots of fun with my dad and my brother's family. My brother, sister-in-law, and nephews live in Virginia -- which means it's much too long between get-togethers. Activities range from family dinners to trips to the local cinema and hotly contested games of monopoly.

The pic at the right captured one of my favorite holiday moments. My nephews -- who opted to eat in our dining area rather than squeeze in with the adults at the bigger table in the dining room -- were found playing poker using stocking-stuffer playing cards and Hershey kisses. Only two teenage boys would assign a different value to each of the three colors of kisses.  :)

Heartfelt Sympathy

Sadly, our family is mourning the passing of a cousin right before Christmas. The cards below are going to several family members.

Parting Thoughts

Operation Write Home card makers traditionally posted their favorite cards of the preceding year on New Year's Day. I'm hoping to put together a Best of 2015 post before New Year's.

Have a fun -- and safe, as I used to say to my students -- New Year's Eve! And, I'll see you back here on January 1.

Until then, thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!

Wishing you all
