These last few days, I've been working on some kid Valentine cards to include in my upcoming SAS4Kids shipment to Nationwide Children's. What a thrill to receive 43 adorable Valentines from Judi D of Massachusetts in today's mail! Thanks so much, Judi. The kids are going to love these sweet cards. :)

The idea of making Christmas cards all year long is such a good one. So, I'm trying to join in the fun with Jingle Belles Stephanie and Lauren on a fairly regular basis. So, I took a bit of a break from my Valentine production line to make the card below for the current Jingle Belles' Bling on the Holidays Challenge.

The reindeer were first stamped in StazOn and then stamped again with several shades of Distress Ink. (Gotta love that MISTI!) Then, I spritzed water using a Ranger mini mister -- dabbing away excess ink -- to achieve the images shown.
So, where's the bling, you ask? A closer look at the reindeer reveals bling-y, candy-cane red noses. I just love how these three pops of color are the perfect accent for these joy-filled little reindeer. :)Also gonna link these cuties up to the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes and Work It Wednesday Challenges.

ok, see, i look at my layery over-the-top creations next to your CAS perfection and think, "why can't i do THAT???!??!" b/c the grass is always greener, right?! i love those adorable reindeer, i loooooooove the way you've colored them so perfectly and stacked them along the side and i especially especially love the red gem reindeer NOSES!!! :) so pleased you could join our celebration of all things sparkly at JINGLE BELLES! ♥
