SAS4Kids: For the Girls

Hi, everyone! It's the first Saturday of the month.... which means it's time for a new Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge.

Our theme for the next two weeks is For the Girls. If you're looking for an excuse to ink up flowers and butterflies, this it!

Two lucky participants will receive a prize from this month's sponsors. Paper Nest Dolls is offering a prize of 3 digis and Die-Versions is offering a $15 gift certificate. Our thanks to Paper Nest Dolls and Die-Versions for their sponsorship.  :)

For my card, I used this adorable Bee Happy Ellie image from Paper Nest Dolls. Isn't she the cutest thing?!

Paper Nest Dolls Bee Happy Ellie image
Debbie Mumm Baby Girl designer paper
Stampin' Up! black; Recollections black; Top Flight white; stash coral and purple cardstock
image colored with Prismacolor pencils
Paper Smooches sentiment (Bee Mine and Group Hugs) in StazOn jet black
Memory Box stencil in Distress Ink spun sugar, applied with SU dauber
Cuttlebug embossing folder; twinery Baker's twine
Martha Stewart button and Marvy circle punches
tiny circles: SU cookie and owl builder punches
elements embellished with icicle Stickles and Glossy Accents
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Zig 2-way glue pen; foam backing

So, what do you think about my little purple and pink bee? The sentiment was created by masking bits and pieces of sentiments from two Paper Smooches stamp sets.

Hope you'll join us over at SAS4Kids for this all-girl challenge. Until next time. thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'!

  1. Hi Sybrina, I love your girly girl card! This little Ellie is so adorable! I love the pink and purple combo. And great embellishment too. I do love making cards for girls and women. They're so much easier and fun to make than masculine cards. Don't you agree? Hope your weekend has been a great one. Hugs.
